Ukiyo Japanese Gin and Vodka spirits are born in Japan, and are made from a base of traditional Japanese shōchū and awamori spirits.
Brand website Brand assetsDrawing on over a century of distilling wisdom, we present Ukiyo Blossom Gin. Our journey begins by first distilling a traditional Japanese shōchū spirit. We redistill with juniper, mandarin and spice before infusing the delicate taste of sakura flower for a fragrant and citrus forward gin. The fruits of this endeavour are born out in the delicate blossom aroma that emulate those found in the mountains and coastline surrounding our home in Kagoshima.
Drawing on over a century of distilling wisdom, we present Ukiyo Yuzu Gin. Our journey begins by first distilling a traditional Japanese shōchū spirit. We redistill with juniper, mandarin and spice before infusing the fragrant taste of yuzu for an aromatic and citrus-forward gin. We respect the 1500 year old tradition of cultivating and harvesting yuzu in Japan. The flavour is tart and fragrant, resembling that of the lemon and grapefruit, with overtones of mandarin orange.
Our journey begins by first distilling a traditional Japanese rice awamori spirit. Mindful of 100 years of distilling heritage, we redistill this rice spirit in traditional pot stills to create a wonderfully pure and fragrant vodka. Like Japanese sake or shōchū, this Japanese vodka is ideal for sipping or pairing with food.
