Five bespoke serves showcase Ukiyo’s Japanese-inspired portfolio across a nationwide spring activation
Ukiyo Japanese Spirits has partnered with The Ivy Asia to deliver a nationwide Sakura Season activation, placing premium Japanese spirits at the heart of an inspired dining, drinking and immersive experience running from 20 March to 31 May 2026.
Available across The Ivy Asia’s UK estate, the campaign centres on a curated collection of five cocktails developed in collaboration with Fever-Tree. Designed to reflect the delicacy and seasonality of cherry blossom, the serves highlight the versatility of Ukiyo’s portfolio across a range of flavour profiles and drinking occasions.
The menu showcases key expressions from the Ukiyo range, including Rice Vodka and its suite of Japanese gins. Serves include the Blossom Paloma, pairing Ukiyo Rice Vodka with lychee, sakura and lime, lengthened with Fever-Tree Pink Grapefruit Soda, and the Nashi Mule, built around Ukiyo Nashi Pear Gin with elderflower and ginger beer. The Yuzu & Elderflower and Blossom & Tonic further demonstrate the brand’s citrus and floral credentials, while the Blossom Club offers a more aperitivo-style serve with Ukiyo Tokyo Dry Gin, Aperol, cherry blossom and rose.
The collaboration provides a high-profile on-trade platform for Ukiyo, aligning the brand with The Ivy Asia’s distinctive, experience-led hospitality format. Known for its theatrical interiors and Asian-inspired menu, The Ivy Asia offers a natural fit for Ukiyo’s Japanese provenance and contemporary positioning, creating a cohesive guest experience that integrates food, drink and visual storytelling.
In addition to the cocktail programme, Sakura Season is supported by a seasonal food menu and an in-venue installation; a pair of cherry blossom Sumo wrestlers welcoming guests at the St Paul’s restaurant. These elements are designed to drive dwell time and social engagement, reinforcing the role of the bar serve as part of a broader, immersive occasion.
The partnership reflects a continued focus on premiumisation within the on-trade, with operators increasingly looking to spirit-led serves that deliver both flavour distinction and a strong visual identity. By anchoring the activation in a recognised cultural moment, Ukiyo is able to connect its liquid credentials with a wider narrative around seasonality and occasion-based drinking.
Sakura Season is available for a limited time across participating The Ivy Asia locations nationwide.
