The Craft Behind the Name
The name Bowsaw is a nod to the cooper’s craft, inspired by the traditional saw used to shape the barrels that define a whiskey’s character. It speaks to the hands-on heritage behind every drop.
Our whiskey is distilled in Lawrenceburg, a quintessential American town in the heart of the Midwest, where distilling tradition runs deep. Here, generations of expertise meet a landscape built on patience and pride, giving every batch a true sense of origin and authenticity.
Built on Barrel and Tradition
Great whiskey is made in the barrel. At Bowsaw, we use new American oak casks, deeply charred to unlock rich colour, structure and flavour. This process draws out layers of vanilla, spice and toasted sweetness, giving each expression its depth and unmistakable character. Time, wood and spirit come together slowly, allowing the whiskey to develop complexity while staying true to its bold, approachable style.
