Kirker Greer Spirits Expands Global Travel Retail Footprint with Nigab

Partnership strengthens Nigab’s premium spirits offering and aligns with Nordic consumer trends in premiumisation and discovery

Kirker Greer Spirits has expanded its presence in global travel retail through a strategic partnership with Nigab Nordic Duty Free & Travel Retail, complementing its growing GTR business across the UK, Ireland, mainland Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The partnership reinforces the company’s commitment to bringing its award-winning portfolio of premium spirits to travellers worldwide.

Ukiyo Japanese Spirits and Born Irish Whiskey have achieved distribution across Calle and Fleggaard stores and Scandlines Bordershops, with further growth opportunities in the pipeline. The collaboration reflects Kirker Greer Spirits’ focus on working with leading distributors to deliver brands that meet the evolving expectations of modern travellers.

Responding to strong regional demand for premiumisation, authenticity, and discovery, Nigab has enhanced its independent spirits range with the addition of Kirker Greer Spirits’ distinctive brands, recognised for their exceptional liquid, contemporary design, and visual appeal.

A dedicated Ukiyo Gin campaign, running from October through December, is currently live across Scandlines Bordershops, increasing visibility and encouraging trial among Scandinavian consumers seeking refined and original spirits experiences.

“Partnering with Kirker Greer Spirits allows us to continue strengthening Nigab’s premium independent spirits offering while responding to clear market trends in premiumisation and discovery,” said Fredrik Hjelm, Brand Manager/Commercial Manager – Travel Retail Spirits, Nigab. “Ukiyo and Born Irish are truly distinctive brands that stand out both in presentation and performance. We’re delighted to introduce them to our travel retail customers and look forward to seeing their continued success across the region.”

Ryan McFarland, Chief Commercial & Strategy Officer at Drinksology Kirker Greer, added:

“These listings represent an important step for Kirker Greer Spirits in global travel retail as we continue to deliver our three-year strategy. Nigab’s market expertise, operational excellence, and commitment to premium independent spirits make them the perfect partner for us. Together we’re connecting their customers with on-trend flavours and categories through award-winning liquids, packaging, and brands, it’s something we’re extremely proud of, and we look forward to building on this momentum.”

Kirker Greer Spirits’ global travel retail expansion forms part of a broader plan to grow international distribution and visibility for its premium portfolio, including Ukiyo Japanese Spirits, Born Irish Whiskey, Jawbox Gin, and Kirker Irish Whiskeys, offering operators and travellers alike a compelling combination of innovation, quality, and design-led appeal.
