Ukiyo Japanese Spirits Partners with The Ivy Asia for 'The Elements: Fire & Ice’ Menu

The latest collaboration puts Ukiyo’s Japanese gins and vodka at the heart of a four-cocktail collection inspired by the contrasting elements of Fire and Ice

Ukiyo Japanese Spirits has partnered with The Ivy Asia for The Elements: Fire & Ice, bringing its Japanese gins and vodka into a theatrical dining and drinking experience inspired by contrasting flavours, serves and visual moments.

Featuring two cocktails across each of the Fire and Ice collections, the collaboration showcases the versatility of Ukiyo’s Japanese spirits alongside Asian-inspired ingredients and contemporary cocktail serves.

The Fire collection brings together two gin-led cocktails. The Fire Gimlet combines Ukiyo Tokyo Dry Gin, sake, elderflower, hot honey and cucumber, balancing fresh botanical character with sweetness and a warming kick. The Ukiyo Club pairs Ukiyo Japanese Blossom Gin with sake, lemon, raspberry and vanilla, bringing floral and fruit-led notes to a modern take on the classic Club cocktail.

The Ice collection takes a cooler, more refreshing approach. The Lychee Mule combines Ukiyo Japanese Rice Vodka with ginger, lychee, lime and lemongrass, topped with Fever-Tree Ginger Ale. The Yuzu Gin & Tonic pairs Ukiyo Japanese Yuzu Gin with coconut, Fever-Tree Tonic Water, Prosecco and boba, combining bright citrus and tropical notes with a playful finish.

Created to complement The Ivy Asia’s Asian-inspired menu, the cocktails bring the Fire & Ice concept into the glass, while the wider Elements experience extends the theme across food and service with dishes and techniques including tableside flames, smoke and dry ice.

The food menu includes Asian-inspired dishes such as Yellowtail Tartare with citrus dressing, truffle and crispy nori; Sesame Prawn Toast with sriracha and lime; King Prawn Noodles with chilli and greens; and Nasi Goreng with sweet soy-marinated chicken. The Fire element is represented by Smoked Beef Short Ribs, while the experience can be brought to a close with a Flambéed Crème Brûlée, prepared tableside.

Guests dining from The Elements set menu or ordering an Elements cocktail can also enter to win a luxury three-night escape to Iceland, in partnership with Quintessentially Travel. The prize includes a three-night stay at a luxury boutique hotel for two, return UK flights and a Blue Lagoon experience for two, with entry via QR code in participating restaurants.

For Ukiyo, the collaboration brings its Japanese flavour profile and spirit versatility into a high-energy restaurant setting, demonstrating how its gins and vodka can work across contrasting serves and occasions. It also reflects the growing role of distinctive cocktails and spirit-led experiences in creating memorable on-trade occasions.

The Elements: Fire & Ice is available for a limited time across participating The Ivy Asia locations nationwide.

Bookings can be made via The Ivy Asia.
